Brief Personal History: Baron Doyle Hull is the last surviving son of Robert Dale Hull, former
Baron over a province on the planet of Lyons. Born and raised on planet
Doyle played extensively with the planetary rulers children. In fact an
accident to the rules only male child opened the spot that allowed
Doyle to go to Nagelring instead of being sent to Sanglamore.
Baron Hull is 25 years old. He graduated in the top 20 of his class out of Nagelring in 3022. As a favor to his father and seen as a surrogate son, the Duke of Lyons (or whoever controls Lyons) pulled some strings and got Doyle a posting with the 10th Lyran Guards. He was assigned though one of the new relatively untested Hatchetman battlemechs even though he had tested out with his family's ARC-2S Archer. As we all know prior to the start of the games the new Alliance between the FedSun and Lyran Commonwealth had been tested in the Alliance Games. It was there in the after battle analysis that Baron Hull met Marcus Ney, of the Federated Suns forces. While discussing the battles, an advertisement about the new style Solaris games, Frederick Steiner suggested a Suns-Commonwealth representative team from the active military. The Brass, seeing Ney and Hull acting as comrades already asked the two to "volunteer" for the games to promote good will. A bit of an egoist, Hull called the team Lyran Suns Stables and Ney just shrudged his shoulders and went along with it. (Some say the reckless, glory hungry Hull was nominated by the Lyrans to sabotage the team and the alliance, as its thought he's more a social general than a dedicated mechwarrior) |
  | Brief Personal History: Marcus Ney is the son of Dennis Ney, who is the ruler of a small province of the world of Kestrel. Born and raised on planet Marcus wanted to join the 1st Kestrel Genadiers sometime in his life and serve the Federated Suns. When he became of age he applied to the New Avalon Military Academy.
Marcus Ney is 35 years old. He graduated in the top 15% of his class from NAMA in 3012. After he graduated he was posted with the 1st Krestrel Genadiers for all of his stay in the AFFS. The mech that they assigned him was a ENF-4R Enforcer, one of the Federated Suns main Medium class mechs. During the later half of 3024 and early 3025, Marcus Ney took part in the Alliance Games. The game where between FedSun and Lyran Commonwealth units to test each other out. During the after battle analysis Marcus met a young Mechwarrior from the 10th Lyran Guards. His name was Baron Doyle Hull, which Marcus later found out piloted the Hachetman Battlemech that Ney had taken down during the exercises. They started to talk about the games and during the discussion Frederick Steiner suggested a Sun-Commonwealth team to go and fight in the new Solaris Games. The Brass had asked Ney and Hull to "volunter" for the games, which they accepted. Baron Hull came up with the name, Lyran Suns Stable, which Ney just went along with the name. |
